During the group’s holiday celebration, the high school’s Junior Chamber of Commerce Club members found time to remember those in need.  While sharing home-baked treats, the students wrote Christmas and Hanukkah cards for disabled veterans.  The cards were given to the Islip American Legion Auxiliary Unit 411 for delivery to several veteran homes on Long Island.

“The students wanted our local veterans to know what they were especially remembered during this holiday season.” said teach and club adviser Renee Clock.
